Privacy & Data

Last updated: May 25, 2026

The short version: Everything you type stays in your browser. We have no servers, no accounts, no database. GetCarrieAI never sees your data. When you copy your briefing and paste it into an AI platform, that data goes to that platform — and their privacy policy governs it from that point on.

What stays in your browser

The EA Briefing Kit stores everything you enter in your browser's local storage — a private area on your device, not accessible to us or anyone else on the internet. Nothing is transmitted to GetCarrieAI servers (we don't have any).

The five local storage keys used:

This data persists until you clear it using the "Clear kit" button or clear your browser's site data. It does not sync across devices or browsers.

What leaves your device — and where it goes

When you click "Copy full briefing" and paste it into an AI platform, that text leaves your device and goes to that platform's servers. GetCarrieAI is not involved in that transfer in any way.

Depending on which platform you use, your briefing is governed by:

We recommend reviewing your chosen platform's data retention and training policies before pasting sensitive information.

A note on sensitive data The Household Manual section may contain deeply personal information — family members' names and schedules, home addresses, medical contacts, and financial advisors. The Travel section may contain loyalty numbers and Known Traveler Numbers. Be thoughtful about what you include and which AI platform you share it with. Consumer AI accounts are personal accounts — if that account were compromised, this information would be exposed.

Using GetCarrieAI at work

If you're using GetCarrieAI to support an executive at a company, be aware that pasting executive or company information into a consumer AI platform may conflict with your company's data security or acceptable use policies — particularly in regulated industries like finance, healthcare, or legal.

If your company has an IT or security team, check with them before using consumer AI tools with work-related information. Many enterprises have approved AI tools with business-grade data agreements. Your company's approved AI platform is always the right choice when one exists.

How to delete your data

To remove all saved data from your browser, go to the Briefing Kit and click Clear kit at the bottom of the page. This permanently removes all five sections from your browser's local storage.

You can also clear it manually: in your browser settings, find "Site data" or "Local storage" for getcarrieai.com and delete it. This has the same effect.

GetCarrieAI has no record of your data to delete on your behalf — because we never had it.

Device and browser security

Because your data lives in your browser, anyone with access to your device and browser profile can read it. If you share a computer or use a shared browser profile, consider clearing your kit when you're done, or using a private/incognito window (note: private windows don't persist local storage between sessions).

What GetCarrieAI does collect

We collect almost nothing. The site is hosted on Netlify, which may log standard web server data (IP addresses, page requests, timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. We do not use analytics tracking, advertising pixels, or cookies. We do not have user accounts.

Children

GetCarrieAI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
